One day, you will have so much money and you won’t ever have to worry about money or paying bills ever again. Until then, there are a few ways that you make money online or without a 9-5 job. If you need extra money and you don’t want to work a traditional job where you have to clock in, I got you babe.

I have been working from home and without a traditional job since 2018 – that’s when I decided to take the leap and leave my super demanding job as a CNA. Over the years, I have tried a bunch of ways to make money online and here’s a few of my favorite ways to make money online or without a job.

This list is perfect for stay at home moms, college students, retirees or anyone who wants to make money online without having any money upfront or without a job.

How to Make Money Online with No Money

1. Flip/Resell stuff – Flipping and Reselling is one of my favorite ways to make money online! It’s soo easy to start. All you have to do is pick your selling platform like Ebay and Mercari and find stuff to sell from your house, things you find for free or from liquidation pallets from Amazon. Once it sells, ship it to your customer so you can get paid! You can also sell your items on Craigslist, OfferUp or Facebook Marketplace.
2. Sell Digital Products on Etsy – I just recently fell in love with selling digital products on Etsy! You can easily create products to sell in Canva and upload them to Etsy! Start for free with 40 Free Etsy listings here to help you get started!
3. Become a personal shopper – Back in the day, I used to personal shop for Instacart and Shipt! They will send you an order to shop for at Publix, Kroger, CVS, Walgreen’s, etc on their app After you completed the shopping trip, you will deliver the customer their order. You get paid via direct deposit!
4. Sell PRL Products– PRL products are products at are already created for you to use. You can rebrand them by changing it up and selling it as your own. You can find a lot of PRL products to resell like ebooks, printables, planners, etc. PRL products are great if you want to save time on creating your own digital products. You can find PRL products like blog posts, articles, and books here.
5. Become a Store Merchandiser– Get paid to take pictures and complete small projects in your local store! After you download this app and sign up, you can see all the projects available in your area! The projects range from making sure items are stocked, making sure items are where they are supposed to be, taking inventory of that brand of item, etc. Pay ranges from $7 on up. I have seen most projects pay $12-$70. The project can take from 20 mins up to 3-5 hours. You can see how long it will take before accepting it.
6. Sell your crafts – Think for me! What can you make that you can sell? Or what do you want to learn to make so you can sell! It can be anything from elastic dog bandanas, dog bow ties, candles to making resin crafts or woodwork crafts. Sell your crafts on Etsy or your own website!
7. Sell your Skills – Think again for me! What can you do? What can you share with the world? Maybe you know another language, how to sew a cool craft, how to cook/bake, how to draw, etc. What skills do you have that you can profit from? You can sell these skills by writing an ebook, creating a YouTube video or start a blog.
8. Become a Dog Walker– Everyone has dogs but may not have the time to walk them as they want! That’s where you will come in. You can offer to walk a few dogs a week for their owners.
9. Start a Dropshipping– I started dropshipping dog collars in 2018 before learning how to sew my own dog accessories. In order to start dropshipping, you have to pick a product that is really cool or solves a problem, create a website on Shopify for it and start bringing in traffic. You can use social media to attract your ideal customers for free.
10. Do Laundry – Laundrycare will pay you take other people’s laundry to your house to wash, dry, iron and fold them. You will have to pick it up from them and take it back once you are finished.
11. Affiliate Marketing – If you don’t have a product to sell or you don’t want to create on, you can promote someone else’s product to get paid. You can find companies to promote on Clickbank and create content on social media to promote the product.
12. Start a Blog – Blogging can be really profitable and a great way to share your stuff with the world. You can blog about anything: food, fashion, crafting, making money, etc. You can montetize your blog by adding affiliate links, ads or selling your own products. To start a blog, sign up with Bluehost, pick your domain name andddd create your first post.
13. Become a Virtual Assistant – If you like administrative assistant tasks like making phone calls, appointments, arranging travel plans, organizing emails, paying bills, etc, then you will love being a virtual assistant for an entrepreneur or small business! You can perform all the tasks that are asked of you virtually!
14. Write Articles – You can get paid to write articles for Upwork, Flexjobs, iWriter, or Freelancer.com.
15. Uber/Lyft -If you have a car, you can try driving for Uber or Lyft! You can pick when you want to go online and accept rides and when you want to stop.
16. Babysitting – With the rising cost of childcare and the other stuff going on in daycares, people are always looking for good, reliable childcare. You can find some kids to watch by looking on Care.com or Sitter.com.
17. Rent out your stuff– Car, house, spare rooms, bouncy houses, bikes, lawn mower, etc, can be rented out for a few hours or a day. You can rent your house, room, cabin, tent, treehouse, or land on Airbnb. To rent out your car, bike or RV, try Getaround or Turo.
